About Torzon Market

A Torzon market company built for darknet buyers and vendors. We've been running since 2022 — no exit scams, no database leaks, no doxxed admins.

Our story

Torzon Market started in early 2022, a few months after DarkMarket and Empire pulled their exit scams. A small group of vendors and buyers — people who'd been active on AlphaBay, Dream and Wall Street — got tired of losing money every time a market died. They wanted a market that didn't treat its users as exit-liquidity.

The first version was rough. No JavaScript, bare-bones UI, Monero only. It launched with about 40 vendors, most of them invited from private forums. The focus wasn't growth — it was not dying. Escrow was built in from day one. Vendor bonds were set high enough to keep scammers out but low enough that real vendors could afford them. Support answered disputes personally.

What we set out to change

The darknet market scene had a pattern: markets grew, admins got greedy, users got robbed. We wanted to break that pattern. Monero instead of Bitcoin. Bonds instead of free vendor accounts. PGP for everything. No central wallet holding everyone's funds — multisig was offered from the start so large balances didn't sit on the platform. Three years later, we're still here.

The principles behind our Torzon market

Three rules that haven't changed since launch. They're the reason we're still online.

Monero first, always

Bitcoin is a public ledger. Chain-analysis firms make money telling cops who sent what to whom. Monero hides sender, receiver and amount by default. We made XMR the primary currency in 2022 and we're not changing that. Bitcoin is supported through auto-conversion, but we recommend XMR for every transaction.

Vendors pay to play

Free vendor accounts attract scammers. A non-refundable bond means a vendor has skin in the game. If they scam, ship fake product or ignore disputes, they lose the bond and get delisted. Bond amounts scale with category risk — selling cannabis is cheaper than selling malware.

No JavaScript by default

JavaScript is how markets get exploited — XSS attacks, session hijacking, browser fingerprinting. Torzon Market works with JavaScript disabled in Tor Browser. We don't load third-party scripts, don't fingerprint your browser and don't auto-withdraw your balance. You confirm every withdrawal manually.

Milestones

A few moments that shaped how Torzon Market operates today. We don't share everything publicly — operational security matters — but these are the things users would have noticed.

  1. Torzon Market launches as a Monero-only onion service with 40 invited vendors. No JavaScript, bare-bones UI, escrow and PGP from day one. The goal is simple: don't exit scam.

  2. Vendor count crosses 1000. Bitcoin support added through auto-conversion, but Monero stays primary. Multisig (2-of-3) rolled out for orders above $500. First public PGP-signed proof of reserves published.

  3. Dispute resolution overhauled — average response time drops from 48 hours to under 6. Vendor bond system restructured: bonds now scale with category risk. Cybercrime tools category formally separated from digital goods.

  4. 5000+ verified vendors. Auto-delivery bot for digital goods goes live — buyers receive PGP-encrypted access details instantly when escrow funds. Market stays JavaScript-optional despite user requests for "nicer UI."

How we work with darknet buyers and vendors

We don't sell anything ourselves. Torzon Market is infrastructure — the marketplace, the escrow system, the dispute process, the reputation tracking. Buyers and vendors do the actual trading. Our job is to make sure the system doesn't get gamed and that disputes get resolved fairly.

Support is small and hand-picked. Disputes are handled by humans, not bots. We don't store plaintext messages — everything between buyer and vendor is PGP-encrypted end-to-end, and we can't read it even if we wanted to. Withdrawals require manual confirmation and a PGP-signed request, so even if someone gets into your account, they can't drain your balance silently.

Partners and vendors

We don't have "partners" in the traditional sense — we have vendors who pass our vetting process and maintain good standing. Vendor relationships are governed by our terms of service, and how vendor data is handled is described in the privacy policy. See the full list on our vendors page.

Buyers register free. Vendors pay a bond and pass review. Both get a market that doesn't plan to rob them.
